Nail reconstruction is a safe, temporary cosmetic treatment designed to restore the appearance of damaged, misshapen or fungal toenails. It is an excellent option if you would like your feet to look their best for a holiday, wedding, special occasion or simply to boost your confidence.

Using a specialist podiatry-grade reconstruction gel, we can create a natural-looking nail that closely resembles a healthy toenail while allowing the underlying nail to continue growing.

What to Expect

During your appointment, your podiatrist will gently prepare and thin the existing nail before applying layers of specialist reconstruction gel. Each layer is cured using a UV light to create a strong, durable and natural shaped finish.

Once complete, the reconstructed nail is carefully shaped and can be finished with nail polish if desired, giving the appearance of a healthy, well-groomed toenail.

How Long Does It Last?

A reconstructed nail typically lasts 4–12 weeks, depending on your lifestyle, footwear, activity levels and the rate at which your natural nail grows.

As your own nail continues to grow, periodic maintenance or replacement treatments may be recommended to maintain the appearance.

Is Nail Reconstruction Right for Me?

Nail reconstruction is suitable for both men and women and can be used to improve the appearance of nails affected by:
